Troy Our Superb Red And White Boxer Stud Dog

Shakatan’s Resolution 1RCC - TROY - 1998 - 2009
May we extend our sincere thank you's too all our friends and fellow Boxer folk from around the world who have sent messages of condolence on the loss of our beautiful boy Troy. Your thoughts and lovely comments have helped us tremendously during this sad time. Troy’s memory will live on through his children and grandchildren.
Thank You All
Jan & Shane
Troy was born by caesarean section in a cold veterinary practice just before midnight on December 31st 1998.
One of nine puppies, he was bottled reared around the clock as his mum (Shakatan’s Skyes The Limit - Skye) failed to produce any milk. (This was a result of A) The caesarean and B) getting bloat) The full litter were reared successfully and, as his litter mates moved to their new homes Troy settled in here with the rest of the gang.
His show career began at six months of age and he had moderate success winning firsts and other placing's at Championship and open show level . He qualified for Crufts on many occasion and his show career hit a high when he was awarded the Reserve Challenge Certificate by breed specialist Sheila Cartwright at the Midland Counties Canine Society Championship Show in October 2000. He was just 22 months old. This fantastic win qualified Troy for Crufts for life. He also gained his stud book entry.
In his later years he continued to win at Champ shows, even as a Veteran, but did not manage any further RCC’s or CC’s.
Being Crufts qualified for life, Troy’s stud career was the best of any stud dog in East Yorkshire. He sired many show winners, Crufts qualifiers and stud book qualifiers including Ozzy his son (and now Stig) who both live here with us.
Troy’s name and his legacy will live on in his children and his grandchildren for years to come and this page will remain for as long as this site runs, in memory of a very fine, loving and loyal dog. He is sorely missed but we know that he is now playing, pain free and very happy, with his friends at Rainbow Bridge.
Until we meet again young fellah - Mum & Dad x
SHAKATAN’S RESOLUTION RESERVE CHALLENGE CERTIFICATE HEART TESTED ONE
KENNEL CLUB STUD BOOK QUALIFIED
Although Troy is now a veteran, he is still siring beautiful litters. One of his recent litters contained SIXTEEN beautiful red and white puppies!
Above is Troy, Shakatan's Resolution 1RCC. with his Mum He is home bred.
As you can see Troy is a deer red and white lad of superb quality and construction. He also has a wonderful wide straight mouth and correct tight bite and lip placement, as well as a clean head.
He is outgoing with a wonderful temperament, he loves life and every thing in it. He stands very close inspection. He has a Reserve Challenge Certificate, and is Kennel Club Stud Book qualified, a recognition of his outstanding merit - this qualifies him to attend Crufts for life. He is heart tested clear, (even as a veteran) and DNA profiled for identification.
He won his Reserve Challenge Certificate at the age of twenty two months, and although he is not shown so much these days (making way for the youngsters) he is still winning well at the Championship Shows, gaining Best Veteran in Show at the Anglian Boxer Club Championship Show, and being placed every time out since. INCLUDING CRUFTS.
He is bred in the purple, and his pedigree is almost identical to that of Champion Santonoaks Be-Bop-A-Lula, who made breed history at Crufts 2000 by becoming the only Boxer in history to win the working group and appear in the final line up for Best in Show.
As a stud dog, Troy sires puppies with a real depth of quality to ALL bitch lines. He passes on his correct, unexaggerated conformation, and lovely kind, and out going temperament.
As well as the many progeny he has sired that are living happily as pets, a great many of his children have also gone on to the show ring, and won Best in Show, Best Puppy in Show, Reserve Best in Show, and Best of Breed awards at Open and Championship shows. He has sired Crufts qualifiers, and winners at this show 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and at one of the first championship shows of the year qualifiers for 2009 as well as Kennel Club Stud Book Qualifiers to many different bitch lines, also qualifiers for the prestigious Mancunian Pup of the Year on occasions It is interesting to note, that his grandchildren are now breeding on well and, doing nicely in the show ring.
He is CONFIDENTLY offered at stud, and has an excellent strike rate. All enquiries welcome.
The usual stud terms and conditions apply, and are outlined in our stud contract.
